dm drugstore is one of the largest drugstore chains in Central and Eastern Europe and is represented throughout Austria with 380 branches employing about 6000 people.

The KonaKart store sells a range of health, beauty and household products. It’s a fine example of integration with the Open CMS content management system because the aim is for the web site to be a “virtual dm branch” combining a completely new form of online magazine with an online store.

A very tasteful integration of KonaKart with Magnolia CMS, using the KonaKart APIs.

The web site does a fantastic job of seamlessly integrating information, training and eCommerce in order to educate the customer so that he can choose the correct product for the job in hand.

Telekom Austria Group. Major European Telecoms Group with 23 million customers in 8 countries.  Their first implementation of KonaKart is for A1 who are an innovative mobile communications operator enjoying a 30% market share of the Slovenian telecoms market.

Their store is a great example of a seamless integration with Liferay and demonstrates how KonaKart can be used to support complex product bundles (which in this case include handsets, price plans, accessories etc).

Gialdi-Brivio Wine


The Swiss Gialdi Winery was founded in 1953 and today is one of the largest wine producers in Ticino.

The online store has been tastefully designed and sells wines from the both the Gialdi and Brivio wineries. It uses the standard KonaKart store-front application with a customized look and feel that blends well with the web sites of the wineries.
