Showing Manufacturer in Order Conf Email

I am using Community Edition
Can I show the manufacturer with the item in OrderConfReceived_en.vm?

Add the manufacturer name to a custom field of the basket when you add the product to the basket. It will then appear in the custom field of the order product when you create the order.
