image uploading problem

Edit Product->Images ->Select Image:->upload,the problem below happened

This sounds like a problem that was fixed long ago that was due to an incompatibility with Firefox.   Which browser are you using?  Do you get the problem with only that browser?

    i am using IE8.i haven't tried other browsers yet.
    btw, i am using a Chinese version windows system,is it possible bec of it?but i am sure the file path and name both got no chinese character and blank in it,and the tomcat didn't print any mistake log,and the picture file had been uploaded into the right file folder,but IE still tells "There has been a problem with the upload <PRE><PRE>" by a popup window.

Maybe it is something to do with that, I'm not sure.  You are using v4.1.0.0 aren't you?

I've just tried it with IE8 on v4.1.0.0 (and the new release scheduled for release very soon) and it worked fine.

It will be interesting to hear if you have any problems with other browsers.

(Perhaps the problem will be overcome for you in the new release which uses a new version of GWT which may produce slightly different javascript code that IE8 on a Chinese system is happy with).

Another thing to try would be to try doing the upload in the IE8 compatibility mode...  does that work?

now i just use the <img> to add pictures into my product introduction,it doesn't look bad.
