Installation of KonaKart / Re: Checkout error
August 20, 2008, 05:12:58 pm
Ming,
Sorry for the late reply, I was out for a while.

I installed konakart by manual installation. The version is 2.2.6.0 (built 8:31PM 27-May-2008 BST).

This was a fresh install. Not an update of earlier version

Thanks in advance

Configuration of KonaKart / Re: Listening to ports
July 24, 2008, 03:04:16 pm
I dont have access to the server.xml file. I have hosted this application in a 3rd party server. The are accusing me of opening random ports while starting the application.
I searched for the port they mentioned in the whole application but couldnt find it.

Now I doubt if there are any frameworks which opens the port without my knowledge.

Thanks in advance

Anyone can help in this issue.

Hi,
I'm trying to set up the shopping cart using Konakart application but couldnt get the callback to l change the status of the items in the shopping cart, the status is always waiting for payment.

Here are my entries in the Konakart admin payment screen

Callback username - my email id to login to konakart

Callback Password - pass for the above email id to login to konakart

Callback URL - http://localhost:8780/kalabh/PayPalCallback.do

Return URL http://host:port/kalabh/CheckoutFinished.do

Cancel URL http://host:port/kalabh/CatalogCheckoutExternalPaymentErrorPage.do

Test Mode true

PayPal Id iamcpr_1194558439_biz@gmail.com

Transaction Currency USD

How can I change the status to payment has completed.

What I did is I unzipped the konakart to another directory and deployed it, and it is working fine. I dont have a comparison s/w to check the diff between 2 directories, because of some admin privileges inthe system I'm working. But still I'm curious to find out, what break konakart when I installed it first time. Anyways, thanks for the help and I will keep you posted on this matter.

Thanks

I changed the context root in server.xml like this to use konakart to my application name.

<Context path="/kalabh"
    docBase="C:\Konakart1\webapps\konakart">
</Context>

Then I try to checkout a product from konakar I get a 404 error like described below. Thi happens when a product is added to the cart and when I press the checkout button. Does anyoneknows how to correct the url to call the correct action while doing the checkout.

Thanks in advance
iamcp

HTTP Status 404 - /kalabh/konakart

type Status report

message /kalabh/konakart

description The requested resource (/kalabh/konakart) is not available.

Thank you for the advice, I was able to solve the issue.
But now I have 4 images for a particular product in the Admin app, but when a user tries to view the same product, only one image(first) is visible in the browser . Do i have to enable anything to view all 4 images from the customer side?

Thanks in advance
