ok figured it out. In the sample app just assigned customized class within BaseAction instead of KKAppEng. It works great.

Programming of KonaKart / Customize KKAppEng for formatPrice

Hi, I am very new to Konakart. I want to know how easy it is to customize com.konakart.al.KKAppEng and use it within the sample JSPs. What changes will be involved apart from a new custom class extending KKAppEng. Do I have to change any properties file ? I have read through customization FAQ multiple times but still this question remained unanswered. May you please help.
