I would like to offer a small discount for a product just to registered users but cannot find any such qualification in the admin UI.
Is it an available feature? I allow non registered clients to buy products on the site I am developing but want to entice as many as possible to register.
If it doesn't exist it sounds like a logical future enhancement- what do others think?
The next version (coming very soon) will have the notion of customer groups. You will be able to add customer group rules to a promotion (i.e. Make a promotion active only for customers belonging to a certain group). This will allow you to create the discount you mention because you can automatically add registered users to a group that you have set up, during the registration process.
