Hi Ryan,

You mentioned:

The Community Edition includes all of the above except the source of the client engine.

Where can I download the Community Edition source code?

The zip file we get from the download page only contains jar files, no java files.

Thanks.

Thank you Ryan.

#2, I18N is fixed now.
The problem that I had is the server was not restarted.

Not like other admin configuration such as Products, which will automatically take effect after a predefined period of cache time or Tool/Cache refresh, the changes to the Localization/Languages require a server restart.

#1, Password generation.
This one is still no clue yet.

Hi,

I am evaluating and tesing KonaKart community edition (version 7.2.0).

The majority of the functions work fine, including adding products, sending email and make a purchase.

But I do run into a couple of issues that I can not figured out,
and hoping they are configuration issues that the Konakart experts and experienced users can help.

1. Forgot your password:
Fill in the user's email and click on SEMD. Received the new password email as follows:

Dear Raymond,

  Your new password is jO0X2tmo

Best regards,

But the user cannot login with this new password (tried both type-in and copy & paste).
The message says: No match for E-Mail Address and/or Password.
The reset password in admin console has the same result.

What could be wrong?
Do I missed any initialization steps or configuration points?

2. I18N:
When a user choose a non-English language (es for example) from the dropdown on the page top, error occurs.

On the tomcat console, it prints: Cannot find a language in the databse for code = es [7.2.0.0]
It seems that some tables are not populated properly.

How should I chase down the problem and fix it?

Thank you very much in advance for any help or hint.
