Hi All,

I am working on an ecommerce project for a large academic publisher and we are looking to define our product structure in Konakart.  As well as a range of simple product types, we also have some more complex offerings.  One example is conference attendance.  We sell tickets to academic conferences around the world, and one of the requirements is that we maintain a stock level (of tickets) for the conference product.  However, we also offer a number of options to "bolt-on" to the main conference product.  For example we might sell tickets to a conference meal as part of the package.  This additional element should have an independent stock level.

We would like to use the Konakart "product options" to set up these bolt-ons, as this would allow us to tie the additional offerings to the main conference product.  So, my question is, is there a standard way in the Konakart product structure to maintain a separate stock level for the main product and the product option?

Thanks,

Micah

Configuration of KonaKart / Embargoed country list

Hi All,

I am working on an e-commerce project with a UK publisher selling digital content.  We have a requirement to prevent users from certain embargoed countries from adding to basket or checking out.  Pricing could be supressed based on a users account details or GEOIP location, but we also need to potentially block transactions during checkout (if a user were to enter a new address or edit an existing address, within the checkout tile).

Our general "modus operandi" on the project is to standardise wherever possible.  With that in mind does anyone know a standard way of maintaining a country specific "blacklist", and if so, how this could be used to supress pricing and prevent checkout?

Thank you in advance!

Micah
