Why do i get "text/html, UTF-8 and quoted-printable" encoding for the order confirmation, but "text/plain, Cp1252 and 7-bit"
for the impromptu mail to a customer. What is the best point to define both to be UTF-8 an quoted-printable?

Yes, these are different because they are sent in different ways in KonaKart (one with HTML templates, the other with Strings).
We will fix this so that mail sent from the Admin App using the "Email" command will be set to UTF-8 as well.
