Is there a way to disable categories using the admin application. I dont want to delete the data, do we have any option just mark them to be not used.

While creating a category, we can currently add on image, I want to add additional images with a category. Is there a way to add additional image adding panels to the exisiting category creation panel.

Also there are custom1 to custom3 field- which hold text, is it possible to change that to text area like the description. This will be very useful to hold short information. Other is there a way to increase the default size of the custom fields in the category creation screen.

I deleted the not required languages from the admin console - localization - languages, and restarted the server, still when I go about creating a new categories - it shows me 4 tabs [ of the locales which were present before ].

Is there a way to not show the locale tabs which are removed from localization.

Current the konakart [ default installation ] admin allows to enter product and categories for 4 locales [ en, de,es and pt]. I have gone through the documentation to find out how to add a locale - which is using the kkmessages utility.

I am not able to figure out around how to remove a locale, for example , I have to currently enter the product for all the 4 locales [en, de,es and pt] which I dont want.

Please suggest the way to achieve this.

i have deployed the konakart store in another instance and am getting this warning in logs - at the same time cant see any the categories,

I have started Konakart (community version) today and have successfully installed it on tomcat and mysql. Next I have created an eclipse project as per the instruction and am running the sample store application from the server configured within eclipse. The tomcat cat server configured in eclipse is an stand along tomcat instance.

I am not sure how to run the konakartadmin application from eclipse- as its only installed as part of the konakart default set up.

Is it that I should be running the store application from my stand along tomcat and in future as well, while the admin should always be run from the konakart default setup.
