Hi,

I have configured the payment module (Paypal). It shows up in the payment list when I login as a customer and I could confirm the order. However, while confirming, it does ask me to enter any paypal a/c details. Does it mean, I didn't configure paypal correctly? In that case, what should be the configuration details?

What should be the values for the following fields?

PayPal Status

Sort order of display

PayPal Payment Zone

Callback username

Callback Password

Callback URL

Return URL

Cancel URL

Test Mode

PayPal Id

Transaction Currency

As a administrator, what should I do in order to allow the user to download the product. I have followed all the instructions to configure the digital download. I could see the "download" on the users' page while checking out. What should the Administrator has to do to process the order, so that the user is provided with the download link.

Please, let me know.

Thanks,

John

Yeah, I found the download option, I thought it was missing. Thanks a lot.

I tried it out, but am unable to find the download section on the users' home page.

Here's what i did.

I enabled the "digital download" option for the product and did exactly that's instructed in the FAQ's section. After confirming the order, by logging in through the User module, I logged in as the administrator and changed the order status to "Payment Received". After that, I logged again as a user and accessed the "My Account" page. I don't see the "Download" links on the "My Account" page. Am I missing something?......What could be the problem? Please, let me know.

Thanks,

John

Hi,

Download option for the softwares, is missing in the latest version. I have heard from you that you were fixing the download option problem which is present in the previous version. Having heard that, I am surprised that you don't have it in the latest version. Did you purposefully removed that feature or you had trouble implementing it fully?

When can we expect it to be implemented.

Also, have you guys deployed the latest version on your demo website or is it the previous version tht's running on your website?, In the latter case, please deploy the latest version.

Please, let us know.

Thanks,
John

October 08, 2007, 11:50:13 pm
Thanks Brian.

It worked. But, I have a problem here. The "body" of the jsp pages is not getting displayed. Hence, I couldn't do any browsing. Please, let me know how to get around this.

Secondly, in the source code I didn't see the source code for the Admin modules. I would like to change the admin modules accordign to my requirement. I see, you being providing the admin jar files which I can't use to change the code. am i right?

Please, let me know. Appreciate you help.

Programming of KonaKart / can i get the war file?
October 01, 2007, 11:06:10 pm
Hi,

I would like to have a .war file of Konakart where I can access the action classes and change them. Currently, I am unable to find the action classes to change, so that I can insert my logic. It would be great if some one can provide me the war file with the Ant script to build the war file after making the changes.

I am using this application for a cource project where I need to test the Konakart by running my test cases (black box and white box). For that, I need to access and change the action classes.

Appreciate a quick reply.

Thanks,

John

Configuration of KonaKart / download option isn't working
September 27, 2007, 07:40:34 am
Hi,

I see a download option for some products under Software category. But, while checking out I dont see any option to download. Even, after the order has been processed, the download option doesn't get enabled.

Can someone tell me how to enable the download option.

Thanks in advance.

Hey Paolo,

By testing I mean, to test the source code that is available in the zip file. Another ques I have is, where can i download the source code of API's that the Konakart uses?

Appreciate your time.

Thanks in advance,

Hey Paolo,

thank you for the piece of information.....However, I still have some problem here......

I am using Microsoft Outlook 2003 as my default e-mail service..... I have checked for the SMTP Server name and found it to be "smtp.emailsrvr.com" which I specified as SMTP server name.

I get the following error.......

com.konakart.app.KKException: Error sending email: Sending failed;
  nested exception is:
javax.mail.MessagingException: Could not connect to SMTP host: smtp.emai
lsrvr.com, port: 25;
  nested exception is:
        java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out: connect
        at com.konakart.bl.EmailMgr.send(EmailMgr.java:419)
        at com.konakart.bl.EmailSender.run(EmailSender.java:42)
        at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:595)

Any suggestions?

I have another question regardiing KonaKart, I was wondering if I could run the JUnit tests, Mercury tool tests, and evalid tests.  Also, any other Black box and White box test cases on the source code.

Thank you in advance.....
