We have written separate FAQs covering installation and configuration questions and one on custom field validation.Important problems with releases are documented in the "Known Problems" FAQ. It's advisable to check here for problems that you may encounter with the release you plan to install.

One of the most important features of KonaKart is the availability of a set of open APIs that allow you to control KonaKart as part of your wider IT solution. To give you an idea of how simple it is to use these APIs, we provide some examples which are explained in the "Java API examples" FAQ.
The Customization FAQ explains how to build the source code that is provided for the customizable parts of the application. In addition it describes in detail how you would add a new payment module.
The one-page checkout feature in KonaKart is written using Google's Web Toolkit (GWT). A development kit containing the source and a build file is included in all download packages (from version 2.2.2.0). (Before version 2.2.2.0 the kit was downloadable separately - contact us if you want a kit for a previous version of KonaKart). Simple instructions on how to use this kit are explained in a Step-by-Step guide in the "One-Page Checkout FAQ". Take a look at this if you wish to modify the way the one-page chekout works in KonaKart.
